In his work SIEH–DICH–FÜR Franz Kapfer connects the V2, the German “miracle weapon”, symbolizing the Nazi policy of aggression, conquest and terror, to a kind of emblem of petty bourgeois garden design – the thuja cypress,or arbor-vitae. And thus associates a stage set of an unscathed “Alpine fortress”.
